19 May Eleven Madison Park, One of the World’s Best Restaurant, is going Vegan!
Eleven Madison Park, a three-Michelin-starred New York restaurant, will be going completely vegan when it reopens on 10th June. This step shows a growing trend in the food industry, as every individual is working on sustainable ingredients and food practices. Veganism is a healthy food habit that in turn provides nutrition without harming the animals and that too in an organic way.
“I’m excited to share that we’ve made the decision to serve a plant-based menu in which we do not use any animal products — every dish is made from vegetables, both from the earth and the sea, as well as fruits, legumes, fungi, grains, and so much more,” chef and owner Daniel Humm wrote in a statement on the restaurant’s website.
As more plant-based options have appeared on menus across the world, gone are the days when vegetarianism or veganism were fringe diets. Humm has earlier said he believes the future of restaurants is vegan.
Concept Your Kitchen (CYK Hospitalities) is amazed by the impacting change that will be created as the EMP kicks in the dining in June. This change will hopefully prove to be a ripple effect in the world’s food industry.
